GRANTS TRAIL RIDE
May 1 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
It’s that time of the year for the Tuesday night ride on the Grants Trail. This will be a casually paced “No Drop” ride for people that haven’t been on their bikes in a while or not wanting to ride with the faster groups. Expect a slower pace of around 10 to 13 mph avg.
What does “No Drop” mean ?
It means I take a head count and keep track of the group and you will not be left behind. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for new comers and experienced riders. Some of you are familiar with the route and may ride ahead.
The route is about 19 miles and you can turn around at any point. Be sure to bring hydration and lights. Lights are a requirement since it will be dark upon our return. Please be sure that your bike is in proper working order including aired up tires and a decent helmet. Helmets are required We will clip in at 6:00 pm sharp.
There is usually some tailgating in the parking lot afterwards with either grilling or Pizza, so please bring some cash for a donation
Please park in the UMB Bank parking lot next door and we will gather near the picnic tables before we leave
