Forest Park Hollywood Amphitheater The Pageant The Ready Room
| Name | Location | Description |
| Loufest | Forest Park | One of St. Louis’s premier music festivals gets underway September 9 on four stages in Forest Park. The two-day lineup offers the chance to see old favorites (Weezer, Snoop Dogg) and up-and-comers (Marian Hill, Hippo Campus), as well as soulful performers in a variety of genres (Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Houndmouth, Noname). It’s a must-see every year, and 2017 is no different. |
| Young the Giant, Cold War Kids, K. Flay, Joywave and Bob Moses at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre | 14141 Riverport Dr., Maryland Heights | This five-act show on August 4 promises to be a highlight of the summer. K. Flay’s mournful sound in the style of Halsey and Lana del Rey makes her somebody to know. Cold War Kids have produced a lot of quality indie rock over the last ten-plus years, and Young the Giant has achieved mainstream success while stopping by St. Louis for performances at Loufest and the Pageant in recent years. Don’t miss the show. |
| OneRepublic with Fitz and the Tantrums at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre | 14141 Riverport Dr., Maryland Heights | OneRepublic has an impressive track record for churning out pop hits, and we’re always happy to hear they’re coming to town. But with all due respect to the headliners – as well as to James Arthur, the first opener – it’s Fitz and the Tantrums you may want to most tune in for. The band’s music is one-of-a-kind: Think energetic, soulful, and hip-hop-influenced pop with a classic sound. Plus, you can enjoy all acts for a reasonable price – come the performance on July 8, you can count us in. |
| Zac Brown Band at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre | 14141 Riverport Dr., Maryland Heights | Zac Brown Band makes country music for country fans and skeptics alike, including quality songs that range from upbeat to bleak in nature. As performers, Zac Brown and his eight-piece group aim to serve up some excellent originals and covers as well on August 27. |
| Saint Motel at Delmar Hall | 6133 Delmar Blvd. | Saint Motel’s special brand of peppy pop makes this show a can’t miss, even if it falls on a Wednesday (June 21). One of the most unique bands to come through town, Saint Motel’s music sometimes defies description (think indie pop), but the ticket price, at just $20, can’t be beat if you’re in the mood for something different. |
| Two Door Cinema Club at The Pageant | 6161 Delmar Blvd. | An Irish export, Two Door Cinema Club is one of the top names in indie rock and promises to deliver one of the best shows all year at The Pageant. Come early to hear the opener, up-and-comer Circa Waves, as well. You’ll have to wait until September 26 to catch this concert, but you’ll be glad you did. |
| John Legend at the Fabulous Fox | 527 N Grand Blvd. | The Fabulous Fox is a singular St. Louis destination. Attending a concert here is a chance to take in the surroundings from this historical hall dating back to 1929. Visitors can enjoy all-star performances from world-class artists like singer/songwriter John Legend on June 15. |
| Story of the Year at The Ready Room | 4195 Manchester Ave. | The Ready Room hosts some of St. Louis’s top indie acts year-round. Story of the Year, a St. Louis-based alternative rock group that has enjoyed success for more than 15 years, will play the venue on July 7 as part of a benefit show to help a friend of the band battle breast cancer. |
| Bleachers at Delmar Hall | 6133 Delmar Blvd. | Bleachers is Jack Antonoff, who is part of the band fun. as well as a songwriter on hits including Sara Bareilles’ “Brave,” Zayn and Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” and Lorde’s “Green Light.” As Bleachers, Antonoff’s soulful pop anthems are just as catchy and unforgettable. Hear ‘em live at Delmar Hall on June 28. |
| Guns N’ Roses at the Edward Jones Dome | 901 N Broadway | A Guns N’ Roses show is an experience not to be missed. Who wouldn’t want to hear that incredible riff on “Sweet Child O’ Mine” live? On July 27, you’ll have the chance to rock out with tens of thousands of other fans of all ages at the Edward Jones Dome. |
