So, whether coffee is an obligatory cup in the morning to jumpstart your day, of a religious experience for you, SELECT’s got you covered. Before you do anything else, check out this list that highlights ten of the best coffee shops in Miami and South Florida – you’ll find each is well worth hoisting a steaming cup back to.

Name Location Description
Eternity Coffee Roasters 117 SE 2nd Ave. Offering free WiFi and a selection of tasty sandwiches, you’ll never want to leave Eternity Coffee. If you’re a true coffee lover, you’ll relish in the fact that what you’re drinking came from small farms in countries like Kenya, Colombia, Ethiopia, and similar locales. Try out the Finca Candelaria, a Guatemalan blend that has hints of sweetness and fruits like plums and pears. You can buy some beans to take home with you, too, so you’ll never run out of caffeine.
Alaska Coffee Roasting Company 13130 Biscayne Blvd. You can probably guess that the first location was opened in none other than Alaska. While these spots couldn’t be farther apart geographically, the ideology remains the same. Alaska Coffee Roasting Companies offers beans from all over the world like Nicaragua, Tanzania, and Sumatra, and aims to sell these blends at a fair price. A small-brew blend will only set you back about $1.50.
All Day 1035 N Miami Ave. The menu in green neon green lights will definitely get your attention when you walk into All Day. Keep it simple and order a single-origin pour for only $5, or opt for its drink of the day. Do you love coffee so much that you feel like you can’t possibly decide what to get? Luckily, you can also order a cupping of three different coffee selections, so you don’t have to choose one favorite.
Nespresso Cafe 1105 Lincoln Rd. There are over 15 different blends to be enjoyed at Nespresso Cafe, separated into categories like spicy, floral, woody, malt, cereal, and honey. By the time you leave here, you’ll feel like an expert on all things caffeinated. Plus, you may even end up walking out with an espresso machine so you can impress your friends (and yourself) with your barista skills.
Segafredo L’Originale 1040 Lincoln Rd. Segafredo is the place to visit if you’re just looking to watch the world go by in peace. Located inside Lincoln Road Mall, you’ll witness lots of good-looking people and dogs alike stroll by while you sit back and enjoy an espresso macchiato. At night, it turns into a bar where you can still get your caffeine fix. Order an espresso cocktail, and pair it with a panini – you won’t be disappointed.
Brew Urban Cafe Next Door 541 NW 1st Ave., Fort Lauderdale Brew Urban Cafe is set up like a huge library, so grab a book, sip your coffee, and feel scholarly. Both hot and cold brews are made with Wells Coffee, but each gets its own special brewing method. The ones from Colombia and Honduras are steeped for 18 hours, and the East African picks are done with a brew dripper.
Subculture Coffee 509 Clematis St., West Palm Beach If you consider yourself a coffee connoisseur, you’ll be impressed the fact that Subculture Coffee is one of the few places in the West Palm Beach area to brew some of its batches in a Japanese-style Oji machine. The blends are so flavorful, they’ll have you coming back again and again. Can’t make it to WPB? Subculture just opened a second in Delray Beach, so now you can enjoy your Oji elsewhere.
The Alchemist 1111 Lincoln Rd. The Alchemist is one of the most underrated, low-key coffee shops in all of South Florida. The brews here are condensed for over 24 hours, then mixed with brown sugar and sweet condensed milk, resulting in a flavor that can’t be beat. Its peaceful atmosphere only makes your coffee-imbibing experience more enjoyable.
Oceana Coffee 221 Old Dixie Hwy. #1, Tequesta Oceana is a one-stop destination for coffee. There’s a retail shop with educational classes, beans to buy and take home, and equipment for you to learn how to master coffee brewing. However, you can also come here just to get a cup of coffee. Customers can order pour-overs, espressos, lattes, macchiatos, and more. Recently, taps with Oceana’s cold brew, fresh iced tea, and even Kombucha were added.
Kay Rico Coffee 1940 N 30th Rd. #123, Hollywood Stop by on any given day, and you’ll most likely be amazed at all the options offered at Kay Rico Coffee. Try its unique flavors like the Chips Ahoy Frappe or the Coco Loco, which is a coconut water cold brew that’s naturally sweetened. No matter what you order, though, sitting at the counter and taking in the vibe is part of the Kay Rico experience.
