Whichever you choose, these 10 spots (among the best singles bars in St. Louis) are sure to offer a quality evening out — and maybe the chance at something more.

Name Location Description
McGurk’s 1200 Russell Blvd McGurk’s is a meeting spot for people young and old. It’s a Irish pub, a live music venue, a lounge, a patio and much more. If you join the throngs of people who crowd this Soulard spot on a Friday or Saturday night, you’ll be sure to have a fun time. And who knows, you just might encounter that special someone.
HandleBar 4127 Manchester Ave An eclectic and fun setting, HandleBar features Russian-inspired food like Pirozhki (meat and vegetarian pasties) and Blinchiki (beer-batter crepes) with drinks like a Gin’s Garden (infused cucumber-basil gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and soda). There are few better places in the city than HandleBar’s popular Happy Hour, held on their patio.
Paddy O’s 618 S 7th St Whether you’re pre-gaming or post-gaming, Paddy O’s is the place for throngs of Cardinals faithful to drink, eat and mingle next to the ballpark. Just be aware of the huge crowds that can form here — trying to order some of the solid ribs, burgers or sandwiches can be a struggle when it gets crowded.
International Tap House Multiple Locations iTap, which can be found in the Central West End, Soulard and Chesterfield (as well as elsewhere outside the St. Louis area), is a great spot for beer lovers. The tap list here is immense, diverse and well curated. Live music, trivia nights, and special events serve as ideal times to meet people.
Double D Lounge 1740 S Brentwood Blvd Double D Lounge is where singles from the country and city congregate for nights of fun, games, and a whole lot of karaoke. Celebrate extremely talented and brave singers alike as you enjoy a drink or two and meet people whose idea of fun is the same as yours.
Three Sixty 1 S Broadway At Three Sixty, house specials like the My Heart Will Go On (cucumber vodka with lime, simple syrup and cucumber) and classic drinks are equally well made. The surroundings are stylish, and the view is unmatched, with a direct look at the Arch and Busch Stadium. If the singles here aren’t quite your type, it’s sure to still be a pleasant experience.
Sasha’s on Shaw 4069 Shaw Blvd Keep it classy at Sasha’s on Shaw, where you can enjoy wine selections just for you, along with shareable (hint, hint) plates of olives, sausage, hummus and pita and more — cheese plates, salads and excellent pizzas. Of course, you can try your luck at the original Sasha’s (706 De Mun Avenue) as an option.
The Silver Ballroom 4701 Morganford Rd You could meet someone at The Silver Ballroom. Whether or not you do, you’re sure to keep busy with its range of pinball machines (there are 20 machines here) and punk music. The bar (known as the “Retox Center”) can take care of your needs. So get your game on and head here for a memorable evening.
Broadway Oyster Bar 736 S Broadway The festive atmosphere of Broadway Oyster Bar is always worth a visit. The kitchen, which serves excellent New Orleans-style po boys, jambalaya (and, of course, oysters) is open until 11 on weekends. The bar is available until 3AM, offering plenty of fruity drinks like the Tchoupitloulas Tea, which combines their own infused sweet tea bourbon with lemon juice and soda. Live music only adds to the atmosphere.
The Royale 3132 S Kingshighway Blvd The Royale is an excellent spot for a casual encounter with other singles. Enjoy classic cocktails like a Manhattan or negroni or lesser known but equally delicious drinks like the Apple Buck (Applejack brandy, lemon juice and ginger beer), especially if you want your night to end with a Kiss in the Dark (gin, cherry liqueur, vermouth, cherry).
