Not all happy hours are created equal, though. Places like Doraku offer discounted drinks and plates like California rolls, while other spots like Ricky’s South Beach offer a unique spin like a five-hour happy hour that includes free arcade tokens with your drinks. You’ll find $4 sake and $5 California rolls, along with cocktails like lychee martinis for only $6. Get there before 7PM to get in on the deal, but definitely try to be there at 5PM the latest. Otherwise, you might not get a seat!
Mai Kai 3599 N Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale The Molokai Bar offers 50 percent off all appetizers and drinks from Tuesday to Friday starting at 5PM. Stop by at 4:30PM on Saturdays to snag the same deal, but the best day to go is Wednesday, when the all-you-can-eat buffet is free for customers who spend more than $10 at the bar.
Rusty Pelican 3201 Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne Happy hour from 4PM to 7PM is one thing, but you should stop by the Rusty Pelican for the views alone. NaiYaRa 1854 Bay Rd. You don’t have to be good with numbers to know you’re getting a great deal at NaiYara’s happy hour, as everything costs only $7. That means $7 cocktails, like the like Kai lychee or the Stone Sour Jerk. Sapporo beer and sake are part of the happy hour, too, as is wine by the glass. Beaker & Gray 2637 N Miami Ave. At Beaker & Gray, you get two shots at happy hour. The first one runs Monday through Friday, from 4PM to 7PM, and the second runs Monday through Thursday 11PM to 2AM. There’s a variety of cocktails for $5, and munchies like grilled cheese and cheesy fries for the perfect delicious and gooey overload can also be had.
Ella’s Oyster Bar 1615 SW 8th St. At Ella’s Oyster Bar, you can slurp on some $1.25 oysters and other snacks like calamari and chorizo. Plus, from 4PM to 7PM the beers are only $4. Or just get a pitcher of sangria or a mojito and call it a day… you’ll definitely be full quicker than you expect.
